Isabelle's Mom is run by work-at-home-mom Kristy in Stamford, Connecticut. Kristy was a school teacher before starting Isabelle's Mom. After the birth of her first child Isabelle in 2005, Kristy decided to quit teaching and stay with Isabelle full time. No longer teaching, Kristy was able to release much of her extra creative energy through her favorite hobby of sewing. She started personalizing unique baby gifts for her friends, and found that they were soon knocking on her door, asking her to create more and more personalized baby items.
