General shipping information
UrthChild will process and ship your order as soon as possible, normally within one to two business days. Most orders ship via USPS Priority Mail. If your address does not receive packages from the US Postal Service, you must indicate that you require FedEx Ground shipment to your address in the "Comments" box at checkout. (Additional charges may apply.)
If you live outside of the US, please contact us to find out if we are able to ship your preferred items internationally and to obtain a shipping quote.
UrthChild is not responsible for packages that are stolen or are otherwise missing after our shipper has delivered the package as determined by the package's tracking number results. We cannot replace stolen or lost packages. (Please see below for insurance options.)
Free Shipping for Most Orders Over $75
UrthChild is pleased to offer free Ground shipping for most orders $75 or more (continental U.S. only). Please note that the order total must be $75 or more after all discounts, promotions, and coupons are applied. Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, and Military addresses may incur additional shipping costs. If an additional charge will apply, we will contact you with the exact shipping charge for your approval before we charge your credit card.
In addition to our free shipping for orders over $75, we offer a flat rate ground shipping fee of $5.95 for orders under $75. Our ground shipping service generally ships via USPS Priority Mail (first choice) or FedEx, and should arrive at your home within 3-7 business days after order processing. If your address does not accept USPS Priority Mail packages and must go via FedEx, additional charges may apply.
Orders shipping via FedEx Second Day should arrive at your home within 2 business days after order processing (most orders ship within 1 business day). The FedEx Second Day service is an additional $20. Please note that FedEx Ground and FedEx Second Day services do NOT deliver on Saturdays. (Furniture, mattresses, and other oversized or heavy orders cannot be shipped via FedEx Second Day.)
Occasionally, our vendors will ship a package directly to you. They may use USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, or another shipping or freight service.
Please note that all shippers except for USPS require a physical address for delivery and cannot deliver to a P.O. Box or military addresses. If you provide a P.O. Box as your shipping address, we will contact you for a physical address if your order needs to be shipped via FedEx or UPS.
Signature Requirements for Delivery
During checkout, please note "Signature Required" in the "Comments" box if you require that someone physically sign for and accept your UrthChild package. Otherwise, our shipper may leave your package at your address. Some of our shipping carriers require that someone sign for a package when the order reaches a certain value.
Incorrect or Invalid Addresses and Returned Packages
When checking out, please double-check your shipping address to make sure it is correct. UrthChild cannot assume responsibility for orders with an incorrect shipping address. Orders with an incorrect shipping address may be re-routed by our shipper or returned to UrthChild as undeliverable. Orders that are re-routed or returned to us as undeliverable will incur additional shipping charges to re-ship the package to a valid address. If you choose to cancel your order in the event that a package is returned to us an undeliverable, we reserve the right to charge you for the actual shipping costs we incurred.
UrthChild is not responsible for orders that have been lost by the shipping carrier. If you would like us to insure your package for carrier loss, please indicate that you want the package insured in the "Comments" box at checkout. A maximum $5.00 insurance fee will be applied to your order.
