UrthChild will process and ship your order as soon as possible, normally within one to two business days. Please note that FedEx 2-Day shipping is not available until March 7.
We currently do not ship internationally.
As an eco-friendly company, we reuse shipping boxes and packing materials from our vendors when possible. We strongly urge you to reuse or recycle our shipping boxes and packing paper. Gifts are generally not shipped in reused shipping boxes.
Free Shipping for Most Orders Over $75
UrthChild is pleased to offer free Standard Shipping for most orders $75 or more (continental U.S. only). Please note that the order total must be $75 or more after all discounts, promotions, and coupons are applied. Tax (if applicable for Connecticut shipping addresses) does not count towards free shipping.
There are a few exceptions to our free shipping policy.
| • | Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, and Military addresses incur additional shipping costs. We will contact you with the exact shipping charge for your approval before we charge your credit card. |

Some oversized or heavy items may incur an oversize handling surcharge. We will contact your for your approval if a surcharge will apply. |

Orders that ship via FedEx Second Day incur additional shipping costs. (Furniture, mattresses, and other oversized or heavy orders cannot be shipped via FedEx Second Day.) |
If there are ever any shipping fees associated with your order, those fees are always listed within the product description and throughout the checkout process.
Shipping Rates
In addition to our free shipping for orders over $75, we offer a flat rate ground shipping fee of $5.95 for orders under $75. Our ground shipping service generally ships via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx, and should arrive at your home within 3-7 business days after order processing.
Orders shipping via FedEx Second Day should arrive at your home within 2 business days after order processing (most orders ship within 1 business day). The FedEx Second Day service is an additional $20. Please note that regular FedEx Ground and regular FedEx Second Day services do NOT deliver on Saturdays. (Furniture, mattresses, and other oversized or heavy orders cannot be shipped via FedEx Second Day.)
Occasionally, our vendors will ship a package directly to you. They may use USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, or another shipping or freight service.
Please note that all shippers except for USPS require a physical address for delivery and cannot deliver to a P.O. Box or military addresses. If you provide a P.O. Box as your shipping address, we will contact you for a physical address if your order needs to be shipped via FedEx or UPS.
Signature Requirements for Delivery
During checkout, you must note "Signature Required" in the Comments box if you require that someone physically sign for and accept your UrthChild package. Otherwise, our shipper may leave your package at your address. Some of our shipping carriers require that someone sign for a package when the order reaches a certain value. UrthChild is not responsible for packages that are stolen after our shipper has delivered the package.
Oversized Items
Large or bulky items, such as furniture, may be considered oversized by our shipping carriers and additional shipping costs may apply. If one of our products requires additional shipping costs, the amount will be listed within the item's product description. Oversized shipping costs are added to regular shipping fees (if applicable).
Incorrect Addresses
When checking out, please double-check your shipping address to make sure it is correct. UrthChild does not assume responsibility for orders with an incorrect shipping address. Orders with an incorrect shipping address may be re-routed by our shipper or returned to UrthChild as undeliverable. If the shipment is re-routed or returned as undeliverable, the billing party will be assessed a $10.00 carrier charge along with any additional shipping fees that may apply.
